How to wash your washable sanitary towel?

Before using your towel for the first time , it is important to wash it after it has traveled a bit before arriving at your home. A 30 or 40 degree wash in the washing machine will remove any irritants and foreign bodies that are harmful to your health.

During your cycle , as soon as your sanitary towel has been used you must fold it and clip it so that there is no leakage. You can then store it in your carrying pouch or a small waterproof bag to take it out once you get home. You can either wash it immediately, which is better so that the stains come out more easily or wait until the end of your period to wash them all at the same time. Then the choice is yours!

Washing your washable sanitary towels :

To pre-wash, you must rinse your towels in room-temperature water. Gently rub your towel by hand with organic soap and rinse it.

In the washing machine , you put all the towels with similar colors in the machine and program a wash between 40° and 60° maximum. Once the machine is finished, it is recommended to let them air dry for healthier drying.

By hand, if you choose this option you must wash your washable sanitary napkin in water at 20° and like the pre-wash, you must rub with organic soap until the stains disappear.

For stubborn stains, it is possible to leave them to soak in water for 1 hour with hydrogen peroxide.
