Finishing your shave well
Rinse your face with cool water and pat it dry with a clean towel. Applying cool water to your face immediately after shaving will help close your pores and complete your shave. Cool water will also help close any cuts and stop any bleeding. If you cut yourself, place a small piece of paper towel or toilet paper over the cut if it's still bleeding. An alum stone is a good way to stop bleeding if you get a cut.
An aloe vera-based cream or other oils for aftershave will nourish your skin while preventing ingrown hairs. Use natural products to keep your skin well-hydrated and healthy. Apply a small amount of the cream and massage it thoroughly into the shaved areas.
If your aftershave contains alcohol, it can cause severe burns. Therefore, avoid these types of products, which can be extremely drying and irritating to the skin.
Rinse and dry your equipment thoroughly and store it in a dry place. Using a clean razor will reduce your risk of developing infections, while your pores will be open and freshly shaved.
To maintain beautiful skin, shave often. Shaving every other day will prevent excessive hair growth and make your next shave painful. The more regularly you shave, the closer your shaves will be and the better your skin will look. Shaving removes dead skin cells and prevents pores from clogging, especially if you wash your face properly afterward.
