• You are one of our private customers and you want to recycle your toothbrush heads

For truly zero waste toothbrushes!

Terracycle gives a second life to items that are difficult to recycle in traditional recycling systems, items that would otherwise end up landfilled or incinerated. The nylon bristles in your toothbrushes and the ABS base of your Caliquo rechargeable heads are among the materials that are difficult to recycle and that Terracycle supports!

How does toothbrush head recycling work in practice?

Your used refills are collected locally through some of our partner stores that have chosen to be collection points. We do not yet have a list of these collection points, as each store decides independently whether to participate—some inform us from the outset, while others do not.

The easiest way, if you made your purchase from one of our retailers, is to go back there to find out which store has a collection point - or to call them!

• If the store offers recycling for used heads, you will then simply have to place your own refills in their special recycling container (regardless of the box)! When the retailer has filled their box, they return it to us. We store everything at Caliquo, in our zero-waste box which, once full, is sent to Terracycle for recycling!
• If it isn't, don't hesitate to suggest the idea to them :-)

Field Choice: Let's Collect All the Toothbrush Heads!

The goal is to group together as many used refills as possible in order to reach a significant quantity (several kilos) more quickly. This is the condition for Terracycle to be able to recycle . We have chosen to rely on our stores rather than favoring individual initiatives by offering each customer the option of returning their heads by mail. The carbon footprint would be too large if each person returned one or two toothbrush heads by mail. And this way, we reach the quantities required for recycling more quickly!

• You are a reseller and you wish to become an intermediary collection point

It's simple and free!

Step 1 : Send us a short message letting us know you would like to be an intermediate collection point

Step 2 : Equip your store with a box designed to collect used Caliquo refills. It doesn't matter which container you choose: cardboard, shoe box: the key is to have a container dedicated to collecting toothbrush heads.

Step 3 : When your box is full enough, send it to us! We'll take care of sending it to Terracycle.
