Grégoire and Marthe, the founders of the brand, are convinced that it is the small gestures of our daily lives that will have an impact on our lifestyle and therefore on the environment. Indeed, disposable toothbrushes, whether made of bamboo or plastic, are not recycled and not recyclable because they are made of several materials including nylon bristles.

So in 2014 we created the perfect toothbrush, made to last a lifetime. We designed our toothbrush with the smallest possible disposable part so that only the worn bristles need to be changed.

At Caliquo we have two main ranges of toothbrushes, wooden toothbrushes and bioplastic toothbrushes.

Our wooden toothbrush is made in France in several stages. You can see it right here. We wanted to make a craft object highlighting French know-how but also a technical object that meets all the advances in terms of oral health. We have made the toothbrush that will follow you all your life.

The ABS top of the handle allows your toothbrush to be water resistant, to clip and unclip infinitely and to be easily cleaned with each change of toothbrush refill.

Each of the manufacturing steps is carried out by hand in an artisanal manner. From the manufacture of the handle made by the woodturning technique, to the fixing of the upper part of the handle which is carried out by disabled workers supervised by a specialized structure, through the polishing of the handles and the varnishing, everything is done by hand. The last steps; the assembly of the bristles and the packaging are carried out by the same staff in our Parisian workshop. Each manual step allows for careful control of the quality of your toothbrush.

At a time when everyone favors short circuits for both food and clothing purchases, it seemed natural to us to offer you a product made in France.
