Cosmetic supplier: who to trust?

As the years go by, we become increasingly involved in maintaining the well-being of our planet. From soap to the paint used to repaint the garden shed, numerous products have been created to support this project, and so many have decided to be a part of it. One sector where considerable effort is being made is the cosmetics industry.

But it's not just the products and their packaging that can be organic, the cosmetic supplier too!

Some suppliers guarantee their organic and natural cosmetic products, which is a big plus for brands that want to be eco-friendly and encourage their customers to become so too!

Depending on the supplier, the product ranges vary. Labels exist to certify the components and techniques used to create the products, such as the COSMOS label (which we discuss in the article "Cosmos organic") and the ISO16128 label. Indeed, the latter has been active since 2018 and guarantees organic and natural cosmetic products. Many suppliers also choose to work with products that encourage the development of our French companies: "100% French manufacturing" has therefore become very important for cosmetics sellers.

Afraid that these products won't be as effective as your usual cosmetics?

There's no need to worry about this; the naturalness of a product doesn't necessarily make it less effective, but rather more respectful of everyone. To reassure customers with facts, labels have also been created, and feedback from test customers is very important in the final product sold.

Unfortunately, fraud does exist in the organic world, too. That's why we're giving you a little reminder here: greenwashing is very real! So check carefully before you buy ;)
